Who We Are
The Myrtle Beach Detailing Association (MBDA) was created to help locals and tourists avoid fly-by-night detailers and find real professionals. Every business listed here has confirmed that they are licensed, insured, and agree to our basic Code of Conduct. That means better communication, safer vehicles, and a much lower chance of getting ghosted or ripped off. MBDA isn’t about trashing anyone – it’s about highlighting the detailers who take this trade seriously in the Myrtle Beach area.
Membership Standards
To be listed as an MBDA member, a detailing business must:
- Hold a valid business license in their jurisdiction
- Carry active liability insurance
- Have a real, verifiable business presence (Google listing, website, or shop)
- Agree to the MBDA Code of Conduct
Our Basic Code of Conduct
All Myrtle Beach Detailing Association members agree to:
- Stay legal and insured
- Maintain a valid business license and active liability insurance.
- Show up and communicate
- No ghosting clients. If we need to cancel or reschedule, we communicate clearly and as early as possible.
- Be honest about pricing
- Provide clear, realistic estimates before work begins. No bait-and-switch “from $49 full detail” scams.
- Respect client property
- Treat every vehicle and every property like it’s our own. No smoking in or around vehicles, no reckless test drives, no shortcuts that risk damage.
- Stand behind our work
- If there’s a problem with the service, we talk with the client and make a good-faith effort to make it right.
- Protect the reputation of the trade
- No fake reviews, no trash-talking competitors, no shady behavior that damages trust in professional detailing in the Myrtle Beach area.
